HowlUp's 3 Core Principles

1. Your Comfort Comes First, Always

We designed HowlUp with the everyday user in mind, not just those trying to stand out.

"Likes" Can Be Positive or Negative

You can give posts a positive "Like" or a negative "Like." They cancel each other out. So, 100 positive "Likes" and 100 negative ratings result in a score of zero, which stops extreme content from unfairly getting all the attention.

So You Can "Like" Without Worry

The original poster isn't notified of *who* liked their post, so you can express your true feelings without hesitation.

Simple Replies to Prevent Arguments

You can reply to a post, but you can't reply to a reply. This rule helps prevent messy flame wars and encourages more casual and friendly interactions.

A "Point System" to Keep the Timeline Peaceful

You post using free points that are given out daily. This prevents spam and other annoying, constant posts. It also gives you a nice little reason to visit every day! (※We will never sell these points for real money.)

A "Blog Feature" for Longer Thoughts
